Rangers defender Leon Balogun has been included in the Scottish Premiership Team Of the Week by the official website of the Scottish Professional Football League, reports Completesports.com.
The summer signning put up a superb display in Rangers’ 1-0 away win against Aberdeen at the Pittordrie last Saturday.
It was a perfect debut for the Nigerian international who had his first training session with the Gers few days before the game at Aberdeen.

Balogun dominated opposing attackers in the game and received plaudits from manager Steven Gerrrad as well as his team-mates after the game.
His international team-mate, Joe Aribo also featured for Rangers in the game.
Balogun is however the only Rangers star in the list dominated by players from champions Celtic.
Celtic’s trio; Odsonne Edouard, Jeremie Frimpong and Greg Taylor were named in the squad.

Never for once doubted your ability. Keep the fire burning, as God continue to protect you and every other deserving SE out there.
Me I dey here dey laugh. What are they saying now at Brighton & Hove? They wanted to die with Duffy and Dunk. Every week, every match, na so so Duffy and Dunk. Yeye people. Why not rotate the squad? Anyway, glad that Balogun has finally escaped that mess. Keep shining jare!
They wickedly ganged up against Balogun for a reason best known to them. Loads of Brighton fans truly loved Balogun and were telling me things. They will never shy away from saying Balogun is a better player than the duo who constantly featured on match days. Sometimes, this gang up thing is perpetuated by fellow players against a certain player they wanna make look bad. And when you watch a game closely, observing the movement of players, the ball and game, you will definitely notice these sort of “bad belle” players.
Where is Hutton who said Balogun will not be a regular at Rangers, let him come and say something now.
its one game. una too dey make mouth
Where is that mr fool Hutton? He shd come out and eat his word.
for 1 game?????? now he is a mesiah??? abegi. now I know many of you have never played sports in thier lives talkless of ball.
Personally I play soccer to college level, now from watching balogun play, I can easily tell he is a very tactical defender, a fellow posted Wigan fans comment about him of recent and they all good stuff, probably this me, but I prefer a calm, collective and agile defender in the form of Ramos, chielini and varane to ur regular rugged defender, and balogun thick this boxes.
Bros Like I said it’s 1 game lets see how he fairs after he has had a run of games maybe like 10 and the opposition attackers have also had a run of games. Then I think we can better assess his qualities and ask Mr Hutton questions 1 game does not give justice to a player who has had a dip for over 1 and Half years now.
Also he was displaced in the Super Eagles 1 game also doesn’t mean he will automatically walk back in the Super Eagles like some of you will start suggesting I bet.
Today game balogum not listed . please can someone tell me or he is injured
Since he just signed for Rangers for the 2020/21 season, he cannot be included in the Europa League squad which is still a continuation of 2019/20 season. Hope that clears it up.
