Super Eagles and Wigan Athletic defender Leon Balogun was included in the English Football League Championship Team of The Week, Completesports.com reports.
Balogun’s inclusion was due to his impressive performance in Wigan’s defence in their 1-0 win at league leaders West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.
Also in the team is Queens Park Rangers’ England-born Nigerian midfielder Eberechi Eze.

It was Wigan’s third straight win and also a third consecutive clean sheets.
Balogun who was replaced in the 69th minute against the Baggies, made his fifth league appearance since joining Wigan on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.
The win saw Wigan move out of the relegation zone and are now 19th on 40 points, in the 24-team league table.

Now that balogun is back i will Advice my boss( gernot rohr) to push ajayi to right back while aina plays left back it could be effective. My reasons is not becos awaziem or jamilu is not doing fine but i think ajayi have better crossing and passing skills and dribbling skills as well. And that will be more better for our attack
Very good idea/analysis. In set pieces Ajayi/Aina can be dangerous moreso Ajayi/Aina can give better passes, score and help the mid-field.

A certain Kingsley ehizibue has been invited to the eagles team. Balogun will eventually be pushed on bcos of his age. He has played his best game for the eagles plus he is very slow. Although kingsley is a natural and speedy right back, he could be converted to a centre back. He has the height and frame.
Rohr is trying but I dont see why he keeps inviting shehu.
Leon balogun is genuinely 30, there are other players in our team that could be older than him true age wise. Leon is back, but the team is extremely star studded. The new right back is a very good player. God bless the team

Instead of Musa why not Chidera
Now that Balogun is back. Rohr can try a combo of Ekong/ Ajayi in one match and Balogun/Omeruo in the other. These players are established stars and I think it is high time we balanced the team.
Supported by record and performance, Balogun is the most effective defender in present SE, followed by Omeruo, Ekong and Ajayi.
I hope most of the invited players get good playing time in the upcoming matches.
