Nigeria midfielder Ramon Azeez is disappointed to see Granada go down to a 4-2 defeat to Real Madrid in their Saturday’s LaLiga match at the Santiago Bernabeu, Completesports.com reports.
Granada put up brave fight in the game reducing the deficit to 3-2 after going three goals down at a point in the game.
Diego Martinez’s men however remain in second position behind Real Madrid in the table despite the defeat.
“We give out everything we have got, but that’s not the result we wanted, we will keep working hard to get things right. @GranadaCdeF laliga @ Estadio Santiago Bernabéu,” Azeez wrote on his Twitter handle.
Azeez started the game and was replaced by Vadillo in the 51st minute.
The 26-year-old has two goals in six league appearances for Granada this season.
He is now expected to link with Nigeria for next Sunday’s friendly game against Singapore.
