Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi will be out of action for up to a month due to a groin injury.
Forest Head Coach Steve Cooper confirmed this ahead of his side’s Saturday’s Premier League clash at Crystal Palace.
Awoniyi now miss the Super Eagles double header international friendly games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique in Portugal.

The first game against Saudi Arabia comes up on October 13 while the second game with Mozambique is billed for October 16.
Awoniyi has scored three goals, made two assists in seven appearances for Forest in the Premier League this season.
The last time the 26-year-old scored for Forest was on August 26 in a 3-2 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
He has gone five consecutive games without scoring for Forest.
