Could the coach have taken Awoniyi to AFCON i am mean on Awoniyi’s form the last two seasons that should have been a.priority and there should have been enough communication with NFF and Nottingham forest to assertain he will be fit I mean Cameroon did it Guinea Conakry did it with Guissary.
Awoniyi and Iheanacho started combining well before injury also Awo would have been x10 better option than Onuachu him coming in from Quarter’s would have been perfect
Another player injury mess up in my books
But Awoniyi fires blank for the super eagles,or have you forgotten? He’s so quiet in games to the point you start wondering if he was selected for the matchday!
His invitations to the super eagles have come on the back of impressive club performances where he has shown.
You forgot his technically astute goal against. Against Sao Tome yes you can say its Sao Tome however how many players were on the scoresheet besides Osimhen, Awo, Moffi and Lookman against Sao Tome Both legs. And Awo’s goal one touch ballcontrol from the air and shoot before ball hit tbe ground.. Awo na baller mehn
Just watched the highlight!
The goal is top-notch. Almost scored a second goal!
A real nightmare for Asenal!!
welcome back Awo !! seriously speaking, all strikers and every players of super eagles should learn hunger, passion and fighting spirit and dedication on the field of play from Victor Oshimen. i wish them a sucessful campaign in this afcon..more wins to our darling SE
What awoniyi brings to the table is more than just scoring goals, he’s another attacker that will put opponents on their toes just like Osimhen but in different way. Awoniyi is a better ball carrier, he can run the opponents down through the wing and he can combine well with other attackers. Seeing his qualities is not a player you will right off, his goals will surely come bcos he has the ability to score goals
Nigeria Awo is back. Welcome Awo. We missed you in AFCON. God Bless you.
