Taiwo Awoniyi says Nottingham Forest will take inspiration from their away win of the season against Southampton on Wednesday night.
Awoniyi netted the decisive goal in the first half, his fourth of the campaign.
The Reds moved away from the relegation zone following the victory at St Mary’s Stadium.
The 25-year-old stated that he and his teammates will continue to push forward following the win at the South Coast.

“We’ve been looking for this for a long time and the gaffer was saying to us that we have to improve our away form and we’re happy to have the three points,” Awoniyi told the club’s official website.
“You have to work hard in every game in the Premier League and you’ll see the results if you keep going and keep fighting.
“We’re still in the process of becoming the team we want to be and we can’t stop now we’re out of the bottom three. We have to keep going, keep believing and fight for each other.
“It was a good press from the team for the goal, Brennan was brilliant with his energy and speed to get the ball into the box and I just had to be there to finish.”
Steve Cooper’s side will now shit attention to Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Blackpool.

keeping FIGHTING bro…
But for now it’s only OSIMEHN that is our SURE STRIKER for the SE…
Sure.
But when Osimhen suffers an injury, something that will happen (and has happened) to any striker in the world, maybe you would use a defender as your striker then.
Only a foolish coach would place all his hopes on ONE striker.
IGHALO is another SURE, TESTED and TRUSTED STRIKER for the SE..
HE’s been there and done that..
You hit it right, Mr Monkey. No one is better suited, experienced and more deadly a striker than Odion cum Osimhen victor for Nigeria today. Peseira can forget, neglect or/and omit Odion Ighalo to his own peril.
