Taiwo Awoniyi will be looking to end a run of two matches without scoring today when Royal Excel Mouscron host Cercle Brugge in the Belgian First Division Playoffs 2B, Completesports.com reports.
The former Nigerian U-23 international who was a 59th minute substitute failed to score for the second game running as Mouscron lost 3-1 to Kortrijk last Saturday.
Awoniyi, however, has a good record against Cercle Brugge, having found the back of the net once in a 3-0 victory for Mouscron last month (February 17).
The striker has since returning helped Les Hurlus win six of ten matches the 21-year-old has played with the Liverpool loanee netting 7 goals and making an assist.
Mouscron who are currently placed tenth overall are coming from two losses in a row and those were the only two defeats in eight matches.
