And commenting on Awoniyi’s performance, Nottingham Post wrote: “Thoroughly deserved his goal. Had got into some really good positions before that, without making the most of them. Could easily have had a hat-trick – at least.”
Emmanuel Dennis, who replaced Awoniyi with eight minutes left, got six out of 10, with Nottingham Post writing: “Didn’t have too long to make an impact on the pitch.”
The last time Awoniyi scored for Forest was in October when he netted the only goal in a 1-0 win against his former club Liverpool.
It is his fourth goal in all competitions for the newly promoted club this season.

Far better than Ighalo. Blend him into SE. With Sadiq for me Moffi is also in the mix.. Until we have more competition for Osimhen. These guys are our best No 9’s… Onuachu should leave Belgium and test himself somewhere else. For now Ighalo too slow. What a great performance by Awo last night.
