Spanish LaLiga giants Atletico Madrid have made contact with Chelsea for Conor Gallagher.
According to Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Atlético Madrid remain the most interested club interested in Gallagher this summer.
He revealed that Atlético have gotten in touch with Chelsea for the midfielder as he is one of their transfer targets.
He added that it wouldn’t be an easy deal due to the cost of the transfer expensive but Atlético interest is genuine.
With Atletico now keen, it adds another dimension to what the future might hold for Gallagher
Chelsea are believed to want around £60m to sell the midfielder and quite whether the Spanish side would pay that, is another debate.

Clearly, though, Gallagher has options on the table when it comes to his future.
If Chelsea do want to sell him, then it seems like he’ll have the pick of a few big clubs.
Gallagher is currently with the England team at the Euro 2024 in Germany.
Gareth Southgate’s men will take on the Netherlands in the semi-finals.
