Arsenal are being linked with a swoop for Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr, who looks set to leave France in the summer transfer window. The 21-year-old has caught the eye following an outstanding season in Ligue 1 where he has netted 12 goals and provided another 11 assists, and there is no shortage of interest.

Sarr initially caught the eye of the Gunners when the two sides met in the Europa League earlier in the season, and Unai Emery’s scouts have watched him in action ever since. Arsenal officials are reported to have made contact with their Rennes counterparts back in March in an attempt to line up a deal and it could take a fee in the region of £25million to make a move happen.
Arsenal are not the only interested party though as Premier League rivals Leicester City are also said to be lining up a move for the pacey winger, along with Italian sides AS Roma and AC Milan. A source close to the player has been quoted as saying: “Leicester, Roma and AC Milan are the three clubs that have shown genuine interest in signing Ismaila. “He has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool. But I have not heard any news from either of these two clubs.”
