Arsenal will battle it out with Napoli for the signature of Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen, reports Completesports.com.
Osimhen, 21, enjoyed an excellent debut season in Ligue 1 with Lille and has been linked with a number top sides in Europe.
The Gunners, according to La Replubblica will however face stiff competition from Napoli who are in good financial shape to compete for his signature.

Osimhen linked up with Lille from Sporting Charleroi last July.
The former Wolfsburg striker scored 18 goals and recorded six assists in 38 appearances across all competitions for the Great Danes last season.

i would prefer him to go to arsenal
I agreed with Yep because the coach believes in young talent.and besides Arsenal don’t have a good finisher in that position.
Arsenal should pay heavily for him now because they were the first Club to have got him in the first place. Arsenal handled him as if he was a fluke.
Deeply sorry for the loss of your dear dad. Too young to loose a dad at 21.
Arsenal is one of the good clubs that will fit Osimhen’s style of play. With their intricate passing and wing play, Osimhen will get plenty of chances. The net go dey shake anyhow. I just hope he will get enough game time. We don’t want our boy languishing on the bench!

Come On!…Bring on the future!!!
Men, the future is indeed bright! See the big clubs that are interested in our lads. Under our able coachee Gernot Rohr, our boys have gone from playing in places like Cyprus, Malta, India, even Tahiti sef, to being courted by the likes of Barca, Real Madrid, Man City, Juve, Arsenal, Man United, etc. Even if Rohr is trying to snatch my wife, yes I will hate him as a person. But I can’t deny he he has had such a positive impact on our football. It’s just the fact! Now, we have another 2.5 years to consolidate on the gains we are already witnessing. I join you in saying – COME ON, BRING ON THE FUTURE!
What else can we ask for, my brother @Pompei!!!
This is what makes our current super eagles so unique and a team on the rise!!!
And a core of these lads are still in the age bracket of 21-30 ooo!!!
Tell why most of them no go reach more than a 100 caps before them retire???
Tell me how any of those players wey I just mention and a lot more coming in, no go make the team list of any big clubs around the world most especially in Europe ???
Even the superstars wey don retire like Skippo John Obi Mikel, Odion Jude Ighalo and Victor Moses still dey play top active league football.
That’s how special and competitive, the man, Gernot Rohr has mound the team into!!!
Abeg, make the future show ojare!!!
I am just buzzing!!!
