Aribo had three shots with two of those on target, two key passes and a hundred percent pass success rate to ensure his side landed their first win of the new Scottish league term.
He also impressed during pre-season with the 24-year-old finding the net in victories over Motherwell and Coventry City and also delivering wonderful displays against Lyon and Nice.
Aribo on Friday won the Young Player of the Year prize together with the Goal of the Season diadem during his debut campaign for Rangers and will be raring to go against Leverkusen.
Compatriot, Leon Balogun who was named in the Scottish Premiership Team of the Week after his impressive debut for Rangers on Saturday is ineligible for the Europa League campaign.
Leverkusen have the edge over Rangers, though, with a place in the quarter-finals at stake after a 3-1 win at Ibrox Stadium in March put Die Werkself in command of this last-16 tie.
