After a 0-0 first half, Christopher Jullien scored what proved to be the winner in the 60th minute, to secure Celtic’s 19th League Cup title.
Celtic were reduced to 10 men after Jeremie Frimpong was sent off after giving away a penalty but Alfredo Morelos’ effort was saved.
The win means Celtic are the first team to win four consecutive Scottish League Cup finals since 1969. They just repeated the back-to-back four-title feat they had recorded in 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969.
It is now a 10th consecutive trophy for Celtic in three years.
