Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo got his fifth goal of the season in the Scottish Premiership as Rangers thrashed Ross County 5-0 on Saturday, Completesports.com reports.
The win means Rangers have now stretched their lead over champions Celtic to 23 Points.
Aribo’s compatriot Leon Balogun did not feature in the game as he was an unused substitute.
After taking total control of the ball in the early stages, it took Rangers just six minutes to break the deadlock.

From deep, James Tavernier sent a ball into the area which was superbly won at the back post by Alfredo Morelos. He nodded it back across goal, and coming onto the ball to loop a header into the top corner was Ryan Kent – his seventh goal of the season.
Rangers doubled their lead on 28 minutes through a stunning header from Fil Helander. Borna Barisic’s ball in from a corner was excellent, and the Swedish international arrived on the end of it to find the bottom corner.
Nine minutes later Rangers went 3-0 up thanks to Aribo who skinned Charlie Lakin, jinked inside Connor Randall and from the edge of the penalty area, curled one into the top corner out of Laidlaw’s reach.
Ryan Jack marked his return with a goal as he made it 4-0 on 66 minutes. He started the move, playing a short one to the edge of the area for Itten. The Swiss international played a lovely ball round the corner for Ianis Hagi toy cut a fine ball back across goal for Jack to finish first time.
And Rangers completed the rout after Connor Goldson headed in Borna Barisic’s corner to make it 5-0.

Nice to see you amongst the goals again!
Here is another one. This is Aribo for us.
Aribo is a game challenger. Having Aribo in the Super Eagles team is like an uncommon blessing that every coach wishes to have in a team.
Hmm. However, this Aribo just need to add something to his game which is freekick.
For him to be a world class player, you have to be good in all aspects of the game.
What we have in the team presently can win anything in the world if properly managed.
We still have Lookman, Ejaria, Adi and other players coming into the team. Chai, if we don’t win anything with this team, NFF should not hesitate to let go of all the Super Eagles managers.
Onuachu is doing well and now is Aribo, ah, ehn, I’m proud of myself.
As I said this week, Dessers will soon join you. I can boldly be proud of three of you now.
It is left to the gaffer of the Super Eagles team to know of to make the best of you guys. Hmm. We have players.
We are eager to win trophies. Abi who no like better thing? If we can achieve this under Oga Rohr, I will definitely be his fan again otherwise, I won’t tolerate failure.
Congratulations to you Aribo.
I won’t say more than that today. No time to waste time. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

Ari-ball handling his business. Check his goal starting at 2:14. I’ll say it ranks among the best I’ve seen so far this year…..if not the very best. Lovely, lovely goal.
Aribo ribo ribo. Nice player, adding freekicks to his game, will be great, but not compulsery, the most important part he needs to work on is longrange passes, this is one important part a midfielder must have and aribo lacks that. He seems a bit shy to release a quick and perfect telefone long range passes that can immediately put a striker in front of goal, long passes that can locate a winger from long distance. Nevertheless he is indeed a great player.
Aribo is good and better than Scottish league in due time… They may likely win the league this year and possibly qualify to the champions league group stage proper.
Remember that they are still playing in the Europa cup.i wish Aribo as well as his team all the best this season and beyond….Ameen.
