Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo was in action while England-born Nigerian forward Sheyi Ojo was on target as Rangers thrashed Lokomotive Tashkent 6-0 in Saturday’s friendly in Doha, Qatar, Completesports.com reports.
Ojo who is on loan from Liverpool scored in the 27th minute to put Rangers 2-0 ahead.
Both players were then subbed off before the start of the second half.
Former England and Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe put Rangers 1-0 up on 10 minutes.
Greg Stewart bagged a brace while Steven Davies and James Tavernier got a goal each.
Rangers’ next friendly game is against Scottish club Stranraer on Friday.
They are second on 50 points, just two points behind leaders Celtic in the league table.
