Argentina vs France – Saudi Arabia beat Argentina 1-2 in the first match of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. With the games against Mexico and Poland still to play, many analysts had already predicted their elimination from the competition.
However, Lionel Messi and co. remained persistent. Instead, they gave everything they had on the football field to start a surprising five-game winning streak and secure a spot in the important final against France.
Despite being put under extreme strain in each of their previous five games, the Los Angeles Gauchos have shown tremendous team spirit to rise above the situation and perform at the top level.

While the others have appeared on occasion, Messi has led them in every game. Alexis MacAllister stole the show against Poland; Enzo Fernandez scored a stunning goal against Mexico; and Julian Alvarez was the standout of the 3-0 semifinal demolition of Croatia.
The previous five games included at least two goals for Lionel Scaloni’s team. When they face France in Sunday’s final, a team that has only managed one clean sheet since the tournament began, they will undoubtedly have plenty of room to perform.
Even though Didier Deschamps and his team had a lot of injuries, many experts thought France would be one of the top teams in Qatar. Les Bleus did in fact live up to their moniker, easily making it to the championship game.
Olivier Giroud’s second-half header gave Les Bleus the victory in their quarterfinal match against a strong England. Les Bleus even played rather smoothly throughout that match.
Even though the defending champions haven’t done very well so far in the competition, they have made it to the back-to-back finals without any problems.
Similar to Argentina, Les Bleus scored at least two goals in all but one of their games during the competition. The only game they didn’t win was a 1-0 loss to Tunisia on the last day of the group stage, which had no effect on their position as the best team in the group.
Kylian Mbappe is trying to win his second World Cup even though he hasn’t even turned 24 yet. With at least ten more years ahead of the French superstar, the “GOAT” discussions may take on a completely new route if he succeeds in defeating teammate Lionel Messi on Sunday.
Argentina vs France – Betting Analysis
In the round of 16, Argentina played outstandingly, notably against the Netherlands and Croatia. However, it will be extremely difficult for their backline to thwart Kylian Mbappe and company in the final.
We don’t see either team keeping a clean sheet in this game, so we predict extra time will be used. The Draw & Over 2.5 goals FT bet offers excellent value at 15.00 odds, and we also have to back Kylian Mbappe, who is tied for the tournament’s leading scorer, to score here at staggering 3.00 odds.
