Nigerian cruiserweight boxer, Efetobor Apochi, will face British contender Cheavon Clarke for the WBA Intercontinental Cruiserweight title on Saturday, August 31, at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles, USA.
Since his debut in 2017, the Nigerian, nicknamed “Pit Bull,” has had fourteen fights in his professional boxing career but has yet to win any regional or world titles.

Apochi boasts an impressive record of 12 wins, all by knockout, and two losses. He suffered back-to-back defeats against Brandon Glanton and Adrian Taylor.
After his losses, Apochi took a one-year hiatus before returning to the ring this year, where he secured a technical knockout win over Lucas Pontes DaSilva.
On the other hand, Clarke remains undefeated with a 9-0 record, including seven knockouts. Clarke also had an illustrious amateur career, advancing to the round of 16 at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He will be looking to make a statement against the Nigerian.
