Former Super Eagles winger Emmanuel Amuneke believes Paul Onuachu has what it takes to play at the highest level.
Onuachu scored 33 goals in 38 league appearances for Genk last season.
The 27-year-old has also hit top form for the Smurfs again this term with six goals in seven league outings.
The Nigeria international was linked with a number of clubs during the summer but instead remain with the Belgian Pro League champions.
The striker recently penned a one-year contract extension with the club.
“Paul was very exceptional last season with his goal scoring form,” Amunike told TribalFootball.com.
“Probably, everybody was kind of expecting that he will make a move to a bigger league. But all he has to do is to be patient, he has been able to draw attention and he has been able to tell big clubs that he has what it takes to play in a big league.
“So he just needs to be patient if the move does not go this season. All he needs to do is to try as much as he can and continue to improve and possibly go beyond what he has done in the last season. I know it is not going to be easy, but he can do it.
“He will be a good addition to any big club if he eventually leaves Genk. I wish him all the best.”

This Onuachu is a good striker. He should now start ahead of Osimhen for Nigeria because Osimhen will never score these number of goals in Belgium. Belgium league is more faster than the Italian league. Onuachu is the best striker in Africa.
Onuachu is a tap in master. He needs to leave Belgium and try French or Italian league
