Heartland FC have completed the mid-season transfer of four players as the club’s Technical Manager, Emmanuel Amuneke, strengthens his squad for the second half of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, Completesports.com reports.
The second stanza of the season is set to kick off next weekend, with clubs eager to return to action, having regrouped with new signings and intensified preparations.
Currently sitting 14th on the league table, the Naze Millionaires have added four players to their roster following a meticulous recruitment process led by Amuneke.

Heading the list of Heartland’s mid-season acquisitions is 29-year-old midfielder Anthony Chukwudi Omaka, who previously played for Enyimba and Kwara United. Omaka joined Kwara United during the 2022/2023 season after departing Enyimba.
Also joining the Owerri-based side is attacking midfielder John Bassey from Bayelsa United, while Terdo Shimangade arrives from Nasarawa United. Daniel Ekpo Victor completes the quartet, having signed from Abia Warriors.
Heartland are set to host Lobi Stars in a crucial matchday 20 fixture at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.
Meanwhile, their Imo State FA Cup campaign kicks off on Monday, 20 January 2025, with a clash against Giant Brillars FC at the OSIA Sports Complex, North Okpalla, near Owerri.
