Ikenna Alozie of Nigeria was named the Most Valuable Player of the Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Global Camp 2025 at the NBA All-Star Weekend.
Alozie showed why he is ranked in the top 10 of his USA high school class, standing out in San Francisco among one of 40 boys campers from Africa, the Americas, Asia, Oceania, and Europe.
The 17-year-old was the leading scorer of the competition with 7.0 points per game, including scoring 6 points in the final game of the game – a 33-25 win by the Hornets over Wizards.
The ninth annual BWB Global camp took place from February 14-16 at the Golden State Valkyries Performance Center and featured players from 22 countries.
The camp included NBA Coaching Development Program members Juan Dixon, Yolanda Moore, Damon Jones and Emeka Okafor to oversee the event.
The campers went through three days of on-court development, 5-on-5 games and life-skills development programming.
A total of 116 BWB campers have made it to the NBA, including the 27 current NBA players that participated in BWB Global.
