Super Falcons star Michelle Alozie returned from suspension by scoring two goals for Houston Dash in their 2-0 away win against Gotham FC in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) on Sunday, Completesports.com reports.
Alozie was shown a straight red card in Houston Dash’s 1-0 loss to San Diego Wave on September 4.
But it was a memorable return for the 2023 FIFA women’s World Cup star as her brace earned her side the three points.
Alozie opened the scoring five minutes into first half added time as she slotted past Gotham’s keeper off a pass from the edge of the box.
In the 67th minute she ran on to a long pass, outpaced her markers before lobbing the keeper who had come off her goal area.
