Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface has praised Bayer Leverkusen manager, Xabi Alonso’s ability in reading games.
Recall that the Nigerian international played an integral role for Leverkusen in their Bundesliga title campaign this season.
He was also on target as the team thrashed Weder Bremen 5-0 on Sunday, to increase his goal tally to 18.

Reacting to Alonso’s tactical and technical abilities, Boniface stated that the Spanish tactician knows how to bring out the best from the players.
“The coach reads the games very well,” Victor Boniface explained.
“Just look at the match against West Ham (UEFA Europa League quarter-final first leg): both scorers are players who came on.
“Xabi Alonso knows what the team needs during the match to perform well.
“We have a group of 20-25 players, not 11, and everyone gives 100% whenever they get their chance.”
