Dele Alli has urged fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to be the team’s “12th man” for Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Man City.
Spurs take on Pep Guardiola’s quadruple-chasing side in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final this week in only their second match at the new stadium.
But following last week’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at the inaugural first-team match, Alli insists Mauricio Pochettino’s side are already feeling comfortable in their new surroundings. “It’s a big game, a tough game but I’m excited and I think all the players are excited as well,” he told the club’s official website.

“We know how good City are and it will be difficult but we have to be confident, go out there and play our own game.
The fans will be right behind us, the 12th man. The new stadium already feels like home. We feel comfortable and it’s an amazing stadium, so that can only help us.”
