I hope this will cap onyedika today. I hope desserts can alsomolay today
Not a bad line-up, hopefully we get to see which players have improved or ready to be part of the team.
Peseiro will get his first major test as Super Eagles gaffer today. Although a friendly match, this game is expected to be played in a ruthless competitive nature.
The Portuguese gaffer talks the talk, will he walk the walk? He says what many fans want to hear.
Gone are the days of “my young team”.
Gone are the days of “Nigeria doesn’t have players in Champions League clubs”
Peseiro’s soundbites and one liners include:”Nigeria can win the 2023 Afcon.”; “I have good players, I have a good squad” ; “Nigeria can win big teams without Osimhen, Ndidi etc.”
Today, he will have to put results where his mouth is. Fans are watching.
Anywhere to watch the game? it seems hesgoal is not going to show it

Thank you my brother.

Sorry I really don’t know
I think Iheanacho will play behind Moffi or vice versa. Both will complement each other.
So Onyeka will play as a defensive midfielder Iwobi in the central midfield.
I would love to see Dessers,Raphael as well the right winger from the Portuguese league as the game wears on.
All eyes would be on Akpoguma who plays in the bundesliga,we need big players in our central defence.Sadly, many of them now play in the second tier of European leagues, not a good development for a big brand like the super eagles.
I wish we could attract some of our Europe Born’s who unfortunately, many still waiting to be capped by their countries of birth who aren’t even keen on them, this are players who could do a job for us.
Meanwhile, the Onyibo Wall is knackered hence cracking! We need a new impregnable wall!
Another form of the oyinbo wall will be formed today.. akpugoma and bassey.
First game akpugoma will be playing in central defense, something tells me he has what it takes to permanently destroy the formal oyinbo wall, a player who plays consistently in Germany should do the job and do it well..
I will love to see the combo of iheancho and moffi, iheancho loves the second striker role and moffi plays as a second striker and the main striker with equal level of performance..
My only fear is onyeka can he be the level of ndidi , he has been in the team for a Long time and should start showing us what he can do..
Good luck to the team.. hope maduka can get some minutes
All I can say— save for Osimhen’s absence (owing to injury), and based STRICTLY on CURRENT FORM— this squad selection is our STRONGEST.
All of us can’t deny this.
It’s a dead rubber fixture quite alright, no question; but this team should put in at least TWO golazos behind the net of the Desert Foxes
A new Oyinbo wall of s loading. I hope Akpoguma and Bassey can prove themselves against a formidable opponent today. Looks like a very good lineup. Uzoho may have clinched the number one spot, but he must be convincing today and also needs to start playing regularly in Cyprus of all places.
Moffi and Iheanacho are playing together for the first time in the national team. Both left footed forwards. Let’s see how they compliment each other.
A SuperEagles line up with an average age of 25 shows that the team is getting there in terms of experience and agility. All the best lads. VAMOS ARRIBBA SUPEREAGLESSSSS!!!!!
From one oyibo wall to another.. what does this show us.. we are not locally producing defenders in this country. Since the retirement of Joseph yobo no other locally produced Nigerian defender has gone above his level and achievement.. very sad realty..
Apart from sanusi it should be been oyibo defense from Central defense to full backs.. something is wrong with our football development
YOU WOULD HAVE MAKE A RISK BY USING ONYEDIKA AND DESSERS INSTEAD OF ONYEKA AND IHEANACHO.
All the best Super Eagles. Go out there and get the job done Shikena. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
Complete sport. The eagles are playing a 442 formation . Terrem support kelechi in the attack

Goal…….!!! Moffi
Nice steal there from Moffi
Omo This jersey fine like kilode?? It’s unfortunate we’re not going to the WorldCup . 1-0 to the SuperEagles Terem Moffi.
No man, linesman…that was no offside..!!!
No surprises when the whole entire refereeing crew is North African…
This is why I hate us playing North African teams…. Always full of antics at home.
Please is anybody watching this game? Haba! If it were me, I may even tell the boys not to come out for the second and then drag that bent referee to the highest courts in FIFA land!
Ah ah, abi dem send this one come? Chaii! lool!
Okay mek we see as second half wan develop sha! Mtcheew!
BTW – Best Kit EVER to date!
Kudos to the designers…I love it!
Makes the boys look like they’re doing the football catwalk!
COYSE!!
You typically wont hear me say this but the refs are very biased toward the Algerians. Clear goal chalked off, very ticky tack fouls being called and no yellow given for that foul on Simkn right at the end of the half there
That aside, we look a bit disjointed but have shown some flashes when in the attacking zone, albeit bot enough
Any links please.
Ah bro! game is finished…sorry, saw your message too late
it’s on Hesgoal
Algerian dominated and were the better team in the half but Nigeria team not doing badly. Can someone tell them to be at alert whennever Algeria has free kick. Simeon is being deployed as it was during Rohr time (wing back
