Former Leicester City star Marc Albrighton has disclosed that Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi was replaced in the second half due to a knock he received in the first half against Leicester City.
Recall that the Nigerian international was substituted in the second half for Adama Traoré in Fulham’s 2-0 win over Leicester City in Saturday’s Premier League game.

Speaking with Premier League World Feed, Albrighton said that Iwobi was removed due to injury.
“The change is because of an injury or a knock. Alex Iwobi, I think he was brilliant in this first half.
“Like I said, the linkup between him, Smith Rowe, and Robinson down this left-hand side was definitely where their best opportunities were being created, so I do think it has to be an injury.”
