Chuba Akpom scored and provided an assist as Ajax thrashed Fortuna Sittard 5-0 in the Dutch league on Wednesday night.
It was the former Arsenal striker’s first goal and assist of the season.
Akpom set up Bertrand Traore who made it 2-0 in favour of Ajax in the 24th minute.
With three minutes left Akpom then scored to make it 5-0 to Ajax.
Fortuna Sittard had to play the entire second half with 10 men after Rodrigo Guth was shown a straight red card.
Ajax climb up to seventh spot on six points courtesy of the win.
