Nigeria forward Chuba Akpom made history by scoring on his Ligue 1 debut for Lille against Le Havre on Saturday night.
Akpom is the now the fourth Nigerian to achieve the feat.
Moses Simon, Victor Osimhen and Terem Moffi all scored on their debut for Nantes, Lille and Lorient respectively.
The 29-year-old started Lille’s 2-1 defeat to Le Havre on the bench.
The Arsenal academy graduate took the place of Osame Sahraoui after the break.
Koka and Issa Soumare scored for Le Havre before Akpom reduced the deficit deep into stoppage time.
The forward is on loan at the former Ligue 1 champions from Ajax.
