Josh Maja bagged the assist for West Brom’s goal which secured a 1-0 home win against Swansea in Saturday’s Championship game.
Also in action for the Baggies was Maja’s Nigerian teammate Semi Ajayi who saw action for 90 minutes.
Maja set up Jayson Molumby to put West Brom ahead in one minute of stoppage time in the first half.
The win took West Brom up to second position on 10 points after four games played so far.
They are just two points behind leaders Sunderland on 12 points and the same number of games played.
Maja has scored four goals from four games in the English second division.
The 25-year-old opened the new campaign with a hat-trick in West Brom’s 3-1 win away to Queens Park Rangers.
