A disconsolate Torino manager Walter Mazzarri said after the game: “I can’t believe we didn’t get the three points today. We were perfect until we were up 3-0. Then it’s difficult to explain what happened, we really threw the game away. I’m very angry.”
Ansaldi who netted a brace added : “There are no words to describe today’s match. We played great football until the 70th minute, then we tried to manage the advantage but we couldn’t manage to hold on to the win. It’s difficult to find the right words.”
In another Serie A game, Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong featured for Udinese who lost 3-1 away to Juventus.
A brace from Cristiano Ronaldo in the 9th and 37th minutes and a goal from Leonardo Bonucci on 45th minute, saw Juventus return to winning ways, after losing to Lazio.
