Nigerian trio of Ola Aina, Ademola Lookman and Tosin Adarabioyo all got impressive ratings for their performance in Fulham’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Sunday.
The ratings which was for every Fulham player who saw action against Liverpool, was compiled by NBC Sports.
And for their impressive display Aina got seven, Adarabioyo also had seven and Lookman was awarded eight out of 10.
Commenting on their performance NBC Sports wrote about Aina: “Some great long passes and kept Mane relatively quiet.”
For Adarabioyo: “Some great blocks and went close at the other end.”
And for Lookman: “Superb display on the left from the former Everton winger as he set up the goal really well. His surging runs tormented Liverpool and took the pressure off Fulham in the second half.”
Bobby Decordova-Reid put Fulham 1-0 up early in the first half and the hosts dominated the first half, but Liverpool found an equalizer as Mohamed Salah’s penalty kick made it 1-1.

We need these trio in SE starting lineup ASAP..what I saw yesterday was heartwarming
When are the hone-based going to start playing football again? Honourable Minister for Sports, it’s getting to a year now.
Lookman would be an upgrade to Musa, we already know what aina can do but im not so sure about adarabioyo. This is probably his first full season in the top flight. Dont know if he can handle tough african kind of game plus we have a plethora of defenders in the Super Eagles, who will or can he bench?
The question should be apart from balogun, who can bench him?..ekong at his best is just average, same with omerua, ajayi etc..
Hi guys, for me Nigeria would be blessed to have the three available and called up for next games possibly in March 2021. And Smak K is right and on point.
Sportsfan, Tosin Adarabioyo is a top-quality defender, you will love to see him play more often for the Super Eagles when you get the glimpse of him. He is that good at least with his link-up with Manchester City. I think that Nigerians must take a keen interest in Fulham’s games this season. It will help us to identify how good we can be with the likes of Tosin Adarabioyo, Ademola Lookman and the already captured Ola Aina as far as the Super Eagles are concerned. Nigeria is truly blessed with these three players and we can choose to be great and become Champion if we are really keen to be so thus annihilating any form of mediocrity in our mindset like is going on in the current Super Eagles team.
Adarabioyo is a very good and intelligent defender with great qualities! It is a factual fact that he is not that kind of a rugged defender but what he lacks in ruggedity he makes up for it with his intelligent reading of the game and good passing abilities.
I will rather love him to be what he is than to be rugged like Ekong without impossing confidence, not able to read the game well, not good at all on air and without being able to initiate attack from defensive line…
With the availability of Adarabioyo, Balogun, Akpoguma, Awaziem, Ajayi and Mr. Ekong our defense has a viable selection to pick from.
At the RB the likes of Aina and Ebuehi are good competitors. At the LB role the duo of Zaidu and Bassey are very comfortable and sweet selection headache.
The midfield involving the likes of Ndidi, Aribo, Etebo, Azeez, Ejaria, Iwobi and possibly Olise will go places with the adoption of good and suitable tactical play.
The attack that involves the likes of Lookman, Ejuke, Musa, chukwueze, kalu and Osimehn and Sadiq are dangerous to even the French and Belgian national teams of today.
Hopefully, from 2021 upwards the super eagles of our aged dreams shall emerge and light the world and they shall be a team that of which will send jitters down the mind of any any opponent across the world soccer.
Always give peace if you want peace.
Provided they will pay they bonuses
What a great addition they’d make to the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Adarabioyo and Lookman are absolutely amazing seeing them with Ola Aina in action for Fulham. Many Super Eagles fans have been salivating about their prospect of teaming up with the Eagles. Many cannot wait to have cap for the SE
Lol! You guys advocating for Lookman, Adarabioyo and possibly Olise. Have you forgotten that the technical adviser Mr. Dare needs 4 home base players for quota system application? 4-3=1. So you want him to have only one slot? Lols
Those guys are wonderful players especially Lookman. SE will be great from March next. Up Rohr Up courageous SE players! In Rohrs army I trust.
In Rohr’s amry I trust!
No offense but I still prefer nigerian, german and dutch defenders to English defenders (of Nigerian origin) for the Super Eagles.
I think they are tactically sound and physically able to adapt to changes in style of play. We have two English born defenders in the Super Eagles, Aina and Ajayi. Aina is ok, he plays more like a wing back, he is good going forward and passes the ball very well. But he is not the strongest defensively at right back that would be Awaziem but he is versatile and very useful in the team. Ajayi on his own is decent but he doesnt have the most awareness defensively, he is not on the same level as balogun or ekong and with time if not already Akpoguma will push him further down the perking order. And its not because he is not a good defender its just because they are better defensively. I think may be thats why Rohr was trying to move him to DM. But it could be for a number of other reasons, anyway tosin still has a long way to go if he switches to the Super Eagles, there are a lot of defenders in the team and all of them are playing regularly for their clubs and are doing well. Plus they have experience playing for the Super Eagles, Tosin will have to wait his turn. If he is as good as most people claim he will surely get his chance.
