Former Super Eagles star defender Ifeanyi Udeze has said Ola Aina is the best right-back in the Premier League this season.
Aina has been impressive for Forest this season as the club is on the verge of securing a top four spot.
Aside taking care of his defensive responsibilities, Aina has also contributed two goals and provided one assist in 25 games in the Premier League this season.
Commenting on Aina’s superb display this season, Udeze believes the Super Eagles star stands head and shoulder above others in the right-back position in the English topflight.
“For me I believe Ola Aina is the best right-back in the Premier League this season,” the 2002 FIFA World Cup star said on Brila.
Udeze also urged the former Chelsea player to consider leaving Forest if a big offer comes in the summer.
“I expect him to leave Nottingham Forest this at the end of the season, if I’m Aina and a club like Manchester City come for me I will leave.”
Meanwhile, Aina’s current contract is set to expire again this summer, but it includes an automatic one-year extension clause that the club can trigger.
Reports suggest that Forest is likely to exercise this option and is keen to retain him beyond that.
