Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi were in action for Nottingham Forest in their 2-0 win away to Everton in Sunday’s Premier League.
Aina saw action for 90 minutes while Awoniyi was introduced in the 76th minute.
Forest continued their impressive form thanks to the win following goals from Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White.
The win took them to second position on 37 points, eight points behind leaders Liverpool on the log.
At Selhurst Park, struggling Southampton lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace with Paul Onuachu and Joe Aribo in action.
Onuachu, who is still looking for his first goal for Southampton, was in the starting line-up before going off on 65 minutes. Aribo was also replaced in the 51st minute.
The Saints remain bottom on just six points after 19 games played.
Also at Craven Cottage Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey featured in Fulham’s 2-2 draw against Bournemouth.

Nottingham Forest in second place? Wow! Anyway I’m not surprised they have a champions league in their cabinet.
Aina is in top class form and Awoniyi is gradually getting fitter as he walks his way back into the team. Some people criticized the move but it is now looking like a bargain move. Especially if Nottingham makes the Champions League.
Our players in the PL are doing great so far this season I just hope Awoniyi can stay fit. Iwobi and Bassey are dong excellently fine. Ndidi is out injured and Leicester is struggling.
Arokodare is another player I want to be given a chance in the next list with Chukwueze and I think Simon too now injured though we still have ample time before our Eagles converge again.
I wish Lookman and Osimhen injury free rest of the season. We need them both or else we are in trouble.. I just hope we can bounce back to claim the WorldCup ticket. We have the team and the pedigree. All we need is a good foreign coach.
Yu r so rite Afilidigrate. Supa Ingles are in a gud place. Aena and Awuneye played well 4 Notinham Furest.
