City’s talisman has previously expressed his desire to finish his career in his homeland and he has suggested a return to Argentina is on the cards when his contract with the reigning English champions expires in 2021.
“I always try [to get back to Argentina],” Aguero was quoted as saying by the Mirror. “I know what the fans [of Independiente] want, but I have a contract with City and I try to focus on these two years I’ve got left. “Then I’ll see what I’ll do but of course, the Rojo [Independiente] is my priority.”
