Sevilla forward, Chidera Ejuke, believes the current crop of players in the senior national team has the potential to achieve great success for Nigeria, Completesports.com reports.
Ejuke spoke during Wednesday’s media parley with Super Eagles players at the Four Points Hotel by Sheraton camp in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, home of the three-time African champions.
“I feel, and I believe, that Nigeria has top players. As I said, being a part of this group [the present Eagles team] is a blessing for me,” Ejuke stated.

“Hopefully, with the current set of players, we can achieve the very best for the country.”
The Super Eagles are set to face Libya on Friday in a 2025 AFCON qualifier, and Ejuke urges Nigerians to support the team as they aim to secure a ticket to Morocco next year.
“Yes, I want Nigerians to keep supporting us, both in good times and difficult times.
“We will ensure that we give our best every time to make Nigerians happy.
“The 2025 AFCON is important to us and all Nigerians, and we will do everything possible to qualify for the tournament next year.”
