Ademola Lookman will play no part in Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday six encounter against the Amavubi of Rwanda.
Lookman picked up a knock in the Super Eagles matchday five encounter against Benin Republic on Thursday.
The 27-year-old was replaced by Frank Onyeka late in the game.
The talented winger returned to Italy on Saturday for further treatment on the injury.

20 players are now available for selection for the clash with Rwanda.
The duo of Ola Aina and Stanley Nwabali have already been ruled out of the game.
Aina sustained a minor injury against Benin Republic, while Nwabali was granted permission to leave camp following the death of his father.
The Super Eagles will host the Amavubi of Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Monday.
