Libya liyya.iiya .. the iya wey Libya will chop on that return leg only referee will help them to be able to score a goal by offside or by fake penalty. Infact some of th fans would have left the stadium in the first half. The Libya players wil not be able to fall down to waste time in the last minute of the game instead dey wil be begging for water to drink and wash their tears .
I said this last week when the images of them sitting on the floor at the airport went viral:
“Why are they sitting on the floor? Is the NFF’s logistics officer happy with these images, which will soon go viral and be used to parody Nigeria? Trust the Maghrebs to dish you a double dose of whatever they receive in your country”.
The Arabs are always some dynamite waiting to explode, not in terms of skills and on-field organization but in trickery, manipulation, and fan intimidation. They’re like Argentina when it comes to the World Cup. For them, any backdoor to win is okay. Unfortunately, CAF is headquartered in their region (Egypt), so CAF typically overlooks their wicked antics.
NFF better use many cameras o to capture every event and step of their journey to sand fro and arrange to ferry the team back the same second the ref blows the final whistle. Only a few fans should go with the team. Because we know NFF will swallow any shit and never complains to CAF even if the ref throws the ball into our net to satisfy the violent Mahgrebian fans in the stadium.
NFF’s Olajire was explaining that the Libyan protocol said they were flying straight to Uyo and instead diverted to PH at the last minute. Akuko. Story for the gods. The Libyan captain won’t tell the fans and media that part of the story. NFF should have requested a digital copy of their flight plan straight from the airline, not depend on phone conversations only.
These guys are simply trickery and manipulation embodied. We all saw how their goalkeeper wasted 20 minutes out of 90 minutes faking injury. And how many minutes did the ref add in extra time to count for all of the time wasting? That was in Nigeria o. In the EPL or World Cup, the goalkeeper would have been red carded. The ref was still afraid of them, so what will happen away? They even almost beat the ref after the final whistle. What will they do the ref away if we win peren?
I remember Duke Udi speaking about the CAF UCL final game, 2nd leg; he played with 3SC away to Esperance or Al Ahly that year. They needed a draw to lift the trophy, but the ref and fans ensured the home team won through the backdoor. Udi said he and his teammates were happy anyway that 3SC lost 1 – 0 or so cos with what they saw in the stadium, they were not sure they would to exit the stadium safely if the results had gone otherwise. Imagine that.
Imagine if it was their goal that was wrongly cancelled!!!
@KenCancel, you said it all. Libya knew that they can’t beat Nigeria home and away. The sudden change of flight to Phc instead of direct flight to Uyo as initially planned was preplanned by Libya to give reason for their lost in Nigeria and to instigate their Federation to treat Nigeria worst in the return leg. They are very tricky and good in preplanning evil.
Sitting down on the floor at Phc airport was preplanned and deliberate. Is Phc arrival hall that crowded that they don’t have seats to sit on?
Super Eagles just need to be disciplined and psychologically prepare for the worst in the return leg. They know that it will be a shame for them to park bus the way they did in Nigeria at home in front of their fans. They are doing everything possible to mobilize both their fans and federation to treat Nigeria badly in the return leg. Super Eagles and the coaching crew need to plan very well and develop tactics to score direct goals that no referee will be able to fault. Expect worst referee than the one that officiate Ruwanda vs Nigeria match last month.
Since NFF is so dumb and always keep quiet to bad and evil treatments Super Eagles experienced in the past. It will give the referee the mind to do anything Libya want him to do in their favor with the belief that NFF will remain silent as usual.
I wish the Super Eagles of Nigeria the best of luck.
NFF must stop playing big (empty) brother and face the realities when it comes to politics in football.I wish the boys (super Eagles) victory over Libya
