Benin Republic head coach, Gernot Rohr says his team will cope with the absence of key players in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Cheetahs will be without dependable defenders, Cedric Hountondji and Olivier Verdon for the game.
The German expressed disappointment with the absence of Hountondji and Verdon, but is adamant he has capable players in the team to replace the duo.

“We are missing key players but we will do without them. In the axis we would have liked to have Cedric and Olivier with us but they are not here,” Rohr was quoted by Joueurs Beninois.
Benin Republic will host the Super Eagles at the Felix Houphet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Thursday night.
The West Africans will be on the road four days later against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
The Cheetahs currently occupy second position in Group D with six points from four games.
