The former African Footballer of the Year however warned Eric Chelle’s side not to underrate the teams in their group.
“I will take the Super Eagles group as against some of the other first round groups,” he told Super Sport.
“It will be difficult because even the so-called small teams have made a lot of progress as we saw at the last AFCON.
“But we have what it takes to get out of the group.”

IF SUPER EAGLE PLAYERS LIKE, LET THEM UNDERRATE THEM AT THEIR OWN PERIL.
THEY HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO COME OUT OF THE GROUP FOR AFCON, BUT THEY DON’T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO COME OUT IN WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS WHERE WE HAVE LESOTHO, ZIMBABWE, RWANDA.
LAZY SUPER EAGLE PLAYERS
