Alhassan Yusuf was not involved in training as the Super Eagles begin preparation for Thursday’s encounter against the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire.
Yusuf sustained an injury in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with the Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.
The Royal Antwerp midfielder was replaced by Joe Aribo in the 67th minute.

The 23-year-old claimed after the game that the injury was nothing serious.
Monday’s training session was open to the media.
The Super Eagles will intensify preparations for the against the Elephants on Tuesday at the Ecole Nationale de la Police on Tuesday.
The training will be behind closed doors.
