The Leone Stars of Sierra Leone opened their training camp in Conakry, Guinea on Wednesday (today) ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau, reports Completesports.com.
Josh Keister’s men will keep a date with the Super Eagles in their matchday one encounter at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Thursday, July 9.
Sierra Leone will host the Wild Dogs of Guinea-Bissau four days later at the General Lasana Conte Stadium in Conakry.

The West Africans will play their home games in Conakry as their original ground, the Siaka Stevens Stadium, Freetown is not eligible to host international matches.
Keister and his technical crew arrived Conakry on Wednesday along some of the invited players.
The gaffer has summoned 25 players for the two matches.
Prominent among the players are; captain Steve Caulker, Queen Park Rangers defender Osman Kakay, Mohammed Buya Turay and Augustus Kargbo of FC Crotone.

Other key stars in the squad are; Musa Noah Tombo Kamara, defensive midfielder John Kamara of Politehnica lasi, Anderlecht star Mustapha Bundu and Sirius left-back Kevin Wrights.
President of the Sierra Leone Football Association, Thomas Daddy Brima is expected to join the team in Conakry on Friday.
