Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has revealed that he owe a lot of his success to the duo of Nwankwo Kanu and Austin Okocha.
The Napoli star made this known in an interview with AFP, where he stated that Kanu and Okocha have served as a source of inspiration to his football career.
“I used to speak with Nwankwo Kanu and Jay-Jay Okocha. I think I owe a lot of my success to them, because they have been sort of an inspiration to me while growing up,” said Osimhen, who announced himself as the top scorer at the Under-17 World Cup in 2015.

“To be up there in the same category as them — not that I am better than them in terms of football, but in terms of what I have achieved — I think is huge for me.
He also expressed his disappointment with the team’s 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
“The first game was really disappointing,” he said.
“Going forward we need to make sure we get it right in the next game, which is against a tougher opponent.”

If one of these happen then I can start supporting the se again. (either one of them) otherwise make una continue to dey call me ghanian or names I don’t care…
Mr go and relax. We have moved on. He’s in the past now we re talking about the future stop bringing Rohr into our future. The Eagles played well and created lots of chances but couldn’t convert them. Top countries like Ghana were defeated. Even Egypt struggled only to get an equalizer at the death of the game. Tunisia was defeated. Cameroon had a draw. So bros be calming down u hear?????
Sorry Oshimen. I back you up to do better on Thursday. You have served us well. We should stay with you at this stage. It’s not easy to score 28 goals in 21 matches. Keep flying. Better luck.
My dear fans. Don’t develop high blood pressure. Remember it’s just sports. If you can’t watch the match live, you can watch highlights later. You may not even have to watch highlights if we don’t get a favorable results (God forbid).
But if we win you can watch highlights.
Stay safe. Sports is not worth dying for except if you stake your lifetime savings in it in a bet (laugh). Even at that a chicken that is not dead can still eat corn. Stay safe
You are the greatest yet in the making and thanks for appreciating our uncle himself a one time baller at the peak. Carry go, okpiaa!
Osiiigoalos, you’re a winner anyday.
We trust your goal harvest and strongly believe the coach is expecting you to lead other lads to victor. Up up Super Eagles! Up up Nigeria!!
Man proposes, God disposes. Those wishing you ill luck have seen theirs gone down the drain. Fire on Osi-top9 as we expect more goals from SE.

Do you do prove reading before posting them at all? Like seriously do you think we care if you support the eagles or not? Desist from all this now nitori olorun bcos it’s actually kiddish walahi, it’s not funny anymore.
