Enyimba goalkeeper Olorunleke Ojo has dedicated his inclusion in Super Eagles’ 2023 Africa Cup of Nations squad to home-based players.
Ojo is only player from the Nigeria Premier Football League included in Super Eagles’ squad for the competition by head coach Jose Peseiro.
Francis Uzoho and Stanley Nwabili are the other goalkeepers in the squad.

The shot stopper stated that he will give his all to justify his inclusion in the team.
“This period is so emotional for me. I want to use this medium to appreciate the media, football pundits, fans, and most importantly the technical crew of the Super Eagles, for believing in me and for giving me a rare opportunity to be a part of the upcoming AFCON team,” Ojo told CKD Media.
” I will give it all my best if given the opportunity to be in goal in any of the matches. I am more or less be a flag bearer for the NPFL at the AFCON.
” I dedicate this inclusion to GOD and all NPFL players, ” Ojo said.
