Ghana and Egypt played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in Thursday’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Mohammed Kudus netted the opening goal in the added time of the 45 minutes to give the Black Stars a precious one goal lead in the first half.
However, at the resumption of the second half, Omar Marmoush leveled parity after capitalising on a back pass by a Ghanaian player to score for Egypt.

All efforts to get the winning goal proved abortive as Ghana and Egypt shared the one point.

Match of the tournament! Is no joke!! We still in it
Mr man you are going home with your dark stars and ur ugly players. Look at this one beat match my foot. No peace for the wicked.
E be u wey say Ghana go win? E be u.
Instead of you concentrating on your teams performance, you are busy being obsessed with Nigeria
I love kudos the guy is simply too good i only hope they can finish up the great work they did today against Mozambique
Kudus is indeed a top top baller. I honestly enjoy watching him. Ghana still has a chance with Kudus.
Ghana and Nigeria knows how to raise their game against strong opponents.
This has been compelled to be ghanaian. Good luck our new country ooo. Hehehe
But again the Egyptian team has quite a few exciting footballers with latent skills on the ball. Tempted to want them to qualify so I can enjoy more of such skillful play.
The Arabs are stubborn
Hahaha. This Egyptian team surprisingly blew me away with their ball skills, rarely seen with previous, very conservative Egyptian team.
I think that aspect of their game took your team by surprise too, great game though.
I think Ghana defenders are having periodic loss of concentration, which they must have to work on before their last game.
We cracking Mozambique in our next match!!
Dont talk too much….U never play the match but u don the count your eggs before they hatch
We believe in ourselves now lol
I pity the latest osu ghana. I wan laff as a proud cameroonian.. wakuwakiwekeke
Eyaah! Ghana is a better websit for positive comments. We are praying for una country o.
A beautiful night for proud Nigerians. Upup! gh
Man Kudus.
Kudusinho.
He’s a deadly SOB.
What a match. Good game from both teams.
Unfortunately we assisted the Egyptians in their two goals. Why do we always want to send the ball back? Inaki and especially Bukari could’ve just kicked the ball out for a goal kick or corner. Two moments of loss of concentration cost us a win. We should have won this game easily. Respect to nija for the win. I predicted a win for ivory coast but you guys proved me wrong. From now on anything is possible
Inaki mistake was from Jordan loosing the ball after trying to take on three Egyptian players! That guy is useless! Always trying to take on players when a simple pass cldve done the trick for us!!
Anytime Jordan loses the ball, we always concedes a goal! In the wc, all the balls that he loses, always resulted in a goal!!
One of the most useless players around
Mozambique is going to be a hard knot to crack.
But removing both players who “assisted” both goals for the Egyptians might deal a psychological blow to them and the entire squad so they could become jittery when playing at the back next time.
Two substitutions of offending players is a hard kill sha.
It shows “mistakes are not allowed here” signals. It could stifle creativity at the back going forward but what a match!
If care is not taking, Ghana is going home. No team is small nowadays. They could have win this game. For me Egypt is not strong specially they defence and holding midfield
