William Troost-Ekong reckoned the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire will be a tough opponent for the Super Eagles.
The Super Eagles will face Jean – Louis Gasset’s side in a game that is expected to be keenly contested affair.
Jose Peseiro’s side drew their first game against Equatorial Guinea and can’t afford to lose against the hosts.
Troost-Ekong claimed the Super Eagles know what is at stake and won’t let their fans down.

“We wanted to win the first game, but things didn’t go the way we wanted. We have put that behind us and the focus is now on the game against Cote d’Ivoire,” the centre-back told a press conference.
“We have prepared the same way, but we hope to win this time around. Coming up against the hosts is going be a big challenge for us.
“There are a lot of experience players in our team, who have played in games like this in the past, so there is nothing to fear for us.
“It’s going to be a tough game, but I’m confident we will win.”
The encounter slated for Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan will kick-off at 6pm Nigeria time.
