I feel Aina should be in that team.
EXCLUSION FROM CAF BEST XI, IT IS NOT A THINGS OF SURPRISE.
OUR PAST LAST SEVEN GAMES PLAYED, NO ONE CONVINCING.
** OUR PLAYERS not convincing
** OUR GOALKEEPERS not convincing
** OUR SO-CALLED EXPERIENCE, LEADER & CAPTAIN OF THE TEAM (Benchwarmer AHMED MUSA) not convincing
** OUR COACHES not convincing
** OUR NFF not convincing.
**** THE WORST PART: OUR ECONOMY not convincing. HOPE WE WILL NOT GOING TO BE RATED WORST ECONOMY NATION IN THE WORLD
For now, Nigerian players are not supposed to be on the lineup. Next time, they will be there. I mean, quarter final.
Only SE player that deserves to be on this List is Calvin Bassey No one else not even Aina. Bassey and even he it is debatable that he was better than anyone on this list in his position during Group Phase.
SO Nigerians saying this that. This List is Fair and Square SE should Up their game Period
Boastful people see yourselves. Nigeria can win but we need humility. No Super Eagles player made the CAF 11 in group stage. It is a sign.
Iwobi deserves to be in that list, he was robbed
Eeehn???
Only Okocha and Mikel should be on the list since we don’t have superstars again. Lol CAF got it right with the list except for the Goalie that I will recommend Niasse of Mauritania who stood out against several difficult oppositions.
On a second thought Morocco is upto something for making up to 4 members be on the list even though their campaign is not 100% win rate.
Na dem sabi, after all na best_11 we wan win?
Pla csn update us on th goings in Super Eagles camp jóór.
NO NIGERIAN PLAYER DESERVES TO BE ON THE LIST
Having been on sabbatical and staying off commentary within the duration, I greet the house as we say it in local parlance, and it’s good to be back again. Well, Nigeria politicians would tell you that’s not the authentic list, ha ha ha ha lol! Being a stake holding fan, I’m requesting CAF co-media representative to DM me the authentic list asap because I’m yet to see the logic or even believe what’s presently trendy. Why is Bassey, Aina, and Osimhen who actually assisted the midfielders, scored and caused the penalty Ekong scored, ensuring we are still in the tournament not on the list? Why why why???
I won’t even comment till i hear from Muleimani Zeihi.
@Olu bro what’s your prediction for 2moro
After tomorrow game Caf go wise up . Up SE
If Calvin Bassy have been fully committed to the LB position and not being thrown around in the “fire brigade” service of from CB to LB in our last three matches; he could have been in that CAF XI.
Good to see some fans in this forum giving some names, though they don’t deserve to be in the list but they’ve tried so far,
The likes of Ola Aina and Calvin Bassey from defense, also Lookman from the attack.
But let’s wait till the end and you’ll be reading some idiotic comments from our ex footballers and some fans that Foreign born players are the reason we are underperforming since they don’t put 100% seriousness in their game when in Eagles jersey.
Even Troost-Ekong’s performance in the first match was not bad either but we have some Football handlers and a Lazy coach that believe the search for good players is over in super Eagles.
Imagine Bukayo Saka agreed to play for Super Eagles then, I can bet it with you that he’ll still be out there waiting for Ahmed Musa to retire because to we Nigerians, Musa is more experienced( upon all the big games Saka has played).
For how many years will Nigerians cry and pray for a good attacking midfielder? Because the likes of Michael Olise, Curtis Jones, Chuba Akpom, Sam Edozie, Chukwuemeka etc were not born in Nigeria. Some will even prefer players from NPFL to these players. In this Tournament so far, we’ve shown that we can defend well and on paper, we have one of the best attackers from Africa but where are the midfielders? Is it Indid (Mr Injury) or Iwobi the most inconsistent player I’ve ever seen in my life or Aribo? Today you’ll see the best of Iwobi and Onyeka , tomorrow you’ll feel like entering your TV set to give them beating of their lives. I’m even tired of taking about Chukwueze since he refuses to grow up. I still see him till date as Chukwueze of under 17 . No improvement. I just pray the luck should continue following them. I believe they can go all the way but this team is not what we really want.
Tell them. Truth has to be told that Nigerian players are overrated.
After the Afcon we need new set of young hungry players, Yusuf should be a case study, big clubs, big names are good but shouldn’t be the only criteria for super eagles invitation.Gift Orban, Tella, Abbey, Bashiru, Mathew, Sor, these are some of the players we need .
