Awesome! 17 players on the first day of training camp is encouraging. 10 straight days of training and conditioning will surely allow us to fully access the team properly. A massive opportunity for Raphael Onyedika and Alhassan Yusuf to showcase their talents.
I’m glad for the opportunity to see this team in a tournament atmosphere to see how they can defend our hallowed green and white. VAMOS ARRIBBA SUPEREAGLES!!! Fly like an eagle into the future.
Ẹyin digbolug! I still Dey do push up ni o. Make una gbaradi. I hope una prayers that we should crash out in the group stage favors una or else vawulence extravaganza.
You have started acting naive again if I say something you’ll start exhibiting ignorance because what is special in 17 players reporting to camp just 11days to their first group match. When Ghana who has their match later than us having 24 players in Camp as at yesterday or is it not Namibia and a host of other nations having full house in their camps. But Nigeria who plays the second tournament match still gasping to get 8 more team players and you call it impressive. Clap for yourself.
Oga go buy Ghana and Namibia jerseys and show dem your full support during the tournament in peace after all na dia refugee you be. Some of our players still played for their clubs up until yesterday. If your brain is actually working properly you need 11 players and 5 subs in a given match. Leave our SuperEagles alone focus on Ghana and Namibia Ọmọ Ẹru. Who beg you not to talk your mind? You sef know me na. I clap bag for you Ọsinwin.
No excuse on why the other players are not with the team. Especially Osimhen em de lagos de party since he seems to forget that it takes one football mistake before naija fans to cancel you. He’s the Current African football king and should lead by example.
Imagine uzoho that should be in camp before it even opens so he can start correcting his basket keeping skills is still not in camp…smh ..
Oh my country naija!!!
IF PASEIRO REFUSE TO REPLACE INJURED NDIDI & IHEANACHO, HE WILL NOT SUCCEED, NFF WILL NOT SUCCEED, NIGERIA WILL NOT SUCCEED IN AFCON. THE BOTH SHOULD BE REPLACE. WE DON’T NEED THEIR EXPERIENCE, LEADERSHIP AS EXCUSE WE NORMALLY POINTED OUT.. AFTER ALL, BENZEMA, AGUERO GOT INJURED BEFORE WORLD CUP AND THEY WERE REPLACED. AND THEIR TEAMS DID WELL TREMENDOUSLY WITHOUT MISS THEIR MENTORSHIP, LEADERSHIP OR EXPERIENCE..
EVEN IN GHANA, THOMAS PARTEY WAS DROPPED INSPITE OF HIS EXPERIENCE, LEADERSHIP & CAPTAINSHIP..
NDIDI & IHEANACHO SHOULD BE DROPPED IMMEDIATELY. PASEIRO SHOULD REPLACE THEM WITH FIT PLAYER LIKE ALHASSAN/NWAKALI AND DESSERS/MOFFI/AKPOM
I look to see Raphael Onyedika make the most of the opportunity in the absence of injured Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi, though he’ll be sorely missed.
I hope couple of other players grab the opportunities that this tournament present to reinvent themselves and give a good account of themselves on the field of play. It’s also hoped that Francis Uzoho, against all odds, prove many people wrong and repose the confidence in him.
I was following you till you skidded of the tracks with uzoho matter. You people should take the guy off the firing line and allow him to rebuild his confidence (Mental Health is serious issue).
Said it here few days ago that peseiro shd replace wilf and kel with ahsan and moffi, and that’s exactly what’s happening, I also frown against VO form and attitude here sometimes ago, but his fans came for my head, osimhen is already way behind halland, mbappe and the rest right now, at this rate I won’t be surprise if he drop from top 100 players, he need real advice, like what’s he doing in lagos and not at the camp already when he shd be the first considering he got red carded and wasn’t on the team last match for Napoli?
Thank you, you are absolutely right!
All these cries about Ndidi’s absence doesn’t really bother me. Yes he is a top player but also football is more of determination, unknown quantity, team chemistry and players lucky champ.
We tend to under estimate the unknown elements in Raphael Onyedika and Alhassan Yusuf. This might just finally put an end to our reliance on Ndidi while ushering a new episode in the SE midfield as we have long being praying for. Same way Jj and Oliseh came in to end Etim Esin and Friday Ekpo era. Same way Uche Okechukwu ‘THE GENTLE GIANT’ caused Keshi ‘THE BIG BOSS’ to gently retire.
I see same scenario revisiting our SE. Remember this always happens going into the next World Cup.
@Glory, Peseiro that I know will start with onyeka. Don’t get your hopes up.
@ Golden Child better we stay positive and cast out all negative vibes.
The coach has enoUgh hands to begin intensive training only uzoho .i hope others join today. I don’t trust peseiro tactical know-how and technical ability to study opponent team. I just hope naija has a good outing. Osimhen knows the expectation as player of the year …success to SUPER EAGLES
Al hassan Yousuf and Terem Moffi will replace Ndidi and Iheancho , so I think Peseiro must order Al hassan to play strict and pressing football matches for Super Eagles in the next tournament in Cote De ‘Ivore, so SE defensive midfield can be changed to strong and strict department.
there is still 2 open spots that can be used for either one attacking midfielder and a winger or 2 attacking midfielders. We would need players that can come from the bench and make a change. i dont see Aribo doing anything apart from his sideways passing.
The players are either Nathan Tella and Dele Bashiru
or
Nwakali and Dele Bashiru
or Nwakali aand Moffi.
the players they didnt include in provisional list i would have included are u23 no 10 ogunniyi and ibrahim olawoyin.
What of this ex enyinmba boy Anayo Iwuala
Anayo how? Of all players? Is that how we’ve suffer of players for you to be talking abt anayo at this moment? Na wah ooo.
Chai! Some comments ehn! My brother you are entitled to your opinion jare.
My own is that make una lower the expectation, not because of anything but because of this our coach.
Those two world cup qualifications are still not ringing well in my head.
I understand the alhassan replacement for ndidi but is peseiro thinking replacing iheanacho with moffi. For perspective one must first understand the qualities of nacho. He can play the 10 and 8 positions and more recently on the wings on the right. How is Moffi a suitable replacement? We are going to the tournament with 3 wingers( chuksy,Simon and lookman) and 4 strikers . Maybe he is banking on Ahmed musa but is he in great form now? time wil tell.
In my opinion, I would have replaced nacho with tella as he can play all the aforementioned positions. What if there are injuries and suspensions in midfield and the wings, the tournament is 1 month. Then there is the issue of going to the tournament with less than 27 players , we are already at a disadvantage to the competition as they have a larger pool of resources to pull from. Anyway, we will see how things unfold.
What exactly is oshimen still doing in Lagos. He didn’t feature in the last match for Napoli, this is just an act of un-seriousness. Want to know exactly what his excuse is. !0 days for training is just to small in my view. Remembered back in the days when the camp is open 3 weeks ahead. Well all the best sha
This beans never done?
