Former Nigeria international Mutiu Adepoju has described the Super Eagles Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying draw as favourable, Completesports.com reports.
In Tuesday’s draw in Cairo, Egypt, the Eagles were drawn in Group C alongside Cape Verde, Liberia and Central Africa Republic.

And reacting to the draw, Adepoju who represented Nigeria at three FIFA World Cups in 1994, 1998 and 2002, warned against complacency.
He wrote on his Twitter handle: “A favourable draw for the @NGSuperEagles. No room for complacency, because qualifying for the FIFA World Cup is our birthright.”
The Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers will commence on October 2020.
The winners in each of the 10 qualifying groups will advance to the play-offs.
