Italian giants, AC Milan are keen on signing Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal from German club, VFL Wolfsburg, Completesports.com reports.
According to Italian online news outlet, Tuttomercatoweb, the former European champions have turned their attention to Osimhen after being priced out of their move for Gerard Deulofeu and Yannick Carrasco.
The website hinted that negotiation is already going on between Milan and Wolfsburg with the intention of taking the young striker to the former.
Milan recently signed Polish forward, Krzysztof Piątek from Genoa and are looking to add more firepower to their attack with the acquisition of Osimhen who is also being courted by other clubs in Europe.
Osimhen, 20, is currently on loan at Belgian club, Sporting Charleroi where he has hugged the headlines for his goal scoring prowess.

The young forward has netted 10 goals in 20 appearances for Charleroi this season.
Osimhen came into limelight after starring for the Nigeria U-17 team – the Golden Eaglets, who won the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile. He won the Golden Boot and Silver Ball awards at the competition.
The striker signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Wolfsburg in January 2017 but struggled to hit the ground running at the club due to loss of form and injuries.
He has been capped three times at the international level by Nigeria.

Why am I not comfortable with this piece of news…?!
please, remain in Belgium for now. God bless you.
Sporting Charleroi have first refusal for his signature as part of the loan deal and can sign him for much less. I’d suggest that Osimhen stay put at Charleroi for the rest of this season in order to have one good uninterrupted season of football for the first time in his career.
The team is structured to help him score goals and in a similar situation to Chukwueze, it would be much better for his career if he remains a first choice starter for his club and would bode well for his Super Eagles chances too.
He is young and Milan can wait for at least two seasons whilst he consolidates his career progression. I wouldn’t like to see him warming the bench at Milan like Orji Okonkwo is doing at Bologna

“…I wouldn’t like to see him warming the bench at Milan …” You got it. In Naija Streetwise lingo: Big club plus Big pay And No play = zero. Stay put, play and grow, my man. Be smart.
Osimhen should stay far from Milan at the moment because Milans new signing of Piatek to compliment Patrick Crutone is a no joker plus only one striker can start a match according to Gattuso who prefers loaded creative players and a lone striker. The last match I witnessed Crutone coming in from bench in place of rootless Piatek who promises to be a good deal and both players are below 25 like Osimhen. Advice is our Osimhen to remain grounded and enjoy Belgium or go back to wolfs at the end of his loan. I hope our players and agent make proper investigation and keep realism before taking up a deal.
If the guyman believe in him abilities make e go any club joor.
Him fit go AC Milan then him luck go shine.
