West Brom manager, Carlos Corberan has revealed Semi Ajayi is nursing an ankle injury.
Ajayi missed the Baggies 2-0 victory against Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night as a result of the injury.
“It’s difficult to face a situation when you are having a lot of injuries,” Corberan was quoted by the club’s official website.
“It’s true that we’ve had a period where we haven’t had some of the attacking players who are important for us.

“Semi Ajayi, when he was playing in the last ten minutes of the Plymouth game, he turned his ankle. He suffered the same injury as he had before the international break.”
Ajayi is now doubtful for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Crocodiles of Lesotho and Warriors of Zimbabwe.
Forward Victor Osimhen is expected to miss the game with injury, while there is also question mark over the availability of AC Milan winger, Samuel Chukwueze.
Ajayi has featured regularly for the three-time African champions under Jose Peseiro.
The Super Eagles will face the Crocodiles of Lesotho at the Godswill Akpabio International, Uyo on Friday, November 17.
The West Africans will be up against the Warriors of Zimbabwe three days later at the Amarhoro Stadium, Kigali.

is there VAR? if not it might count against us, In the past 2 friendlies i think Saudi paid for their own VAR but against Medegasger our players just gave up at the end, I saw a few penalties, and off-side that should have been more goals for us, the referee decided to play god.
