Nakamba, who plays for Premier League club, Luton Town claimed that they deserved more from the game.
“We tried our best as a team, we have so many chances to finish the game, but we couldn’t convert them,” the 29-year-old stated in a short video posted on the official X handle of the Zimbabwe Football Association.
“We just have to keep fighting, believing in ourselves. We are looking forward to the next match. The support has been good from our fans.
” We just have to push each other more and demand more from each other. The unity was there in the team. We supported each other, whether players from home or abroad.
Zimbabwe will host the Likuena of Lesotho in their next game in the qualifiers in June, 2024.
